[Winnipeg Free Press newspaper article describing the Royal Canadian Mounted Police investigation into the deaths of John Hornby, Harold Adlard and Edgar Christian. It describes the RCMP's discovery of the bodies, and the discovery of each man's diaries and papers. At the time of the article, Canon John Hornby Armitstead, cousin of John Hornby, had received the RCMP report. Mr. and Mrs. Adlard were anticipating the arrival of their son's papers.]
