The file consists of student work books produced by students at St. Peter's Mission (Residential) School, including Cyril Uninguik, Harriet Soto, Noel Firth, James Koe, Sambo Kaklik, and Antoine Mackay. The books contain mainly writing exercises, although one also includes spelling and dictation lessons.

The file consists of two mining claim applications, a hand drawn map of the claims, and a newspaper clipping map entitled ‘Southern Portion Yellowknife River Mining Area Great Slave Lake North West Territories’. The mining claims were staked by Frank Camsell for Mitch Jacob, who is referred to as ‘Michael Jacobs’ in the file.
