One BetaCam video containing footage of Yellowknife, including a panoramas of the town, streets scenes and buildings, footage of the Peg Tantalum mine, footage of a plane taking of and landing in Port Radium, an aerial view of Fort Smith and footage of Coppermine. Dr. Paris B. Stockdale, a geologist from the University Of Tennessee, shot the original 16 mm film in July 1946. He was traveling across Canada with stock speculator, Harry Beekner, who owned stock in Canadian gold mines. The film is entitled "A Fishing Tale," and was produced in 1983. The film is in colour and is 27 minutes in length; it depicts the commercial fishing culture on Great Slave Lake and documents fishing operations in both the winter and summer months and shows how the difficult environment affects the lives of those employed in the fishing industry. [Narrated by Bob Backhouse. Gester Gudmundson, Edwin Morin, Wilfred Smith, Clifford Bird.]

Records were generated by a project undertaken by the Sahtu Heritage Places and Sites Joint Working Group and include one report entitled "Places We Take Care Of" that identified and made recommendations about the protection, preservation and promotion of heritage places and sites important to the history and culture of the Sahtu Dene and Metis. Records also consist of copies of oral history transcripts from Délı̨nę, Colville Lake and Fort Good Hope. Interviews were carried out as part of the project to identify additional culturally significant and historic sites.
