The book predominently consists of customer accounts, showing goods bought and sold and amounts owing, and also includes lists of goods bought, money paid out, personal supplies, and inventories. Some loose papers, including 1950 sales slips, are also inserted into the book. The book is not chronological and sometimes a year is not indicated. Entries range from 1929 to 1932 and 1950.
