One folder consisting of correspondence and reports which discuss the transfer of facilities and responsibilities at Fort Churchill from the Department of National Defence to the Department of Northern Affairs and Natural Resources; the establishment of the Churchill Vocational Centre (CVC); employment and further training of graduates of the CVC (contains personal information); and the integration of Fort Churchill into the town of Churchill, along with the consequences of this integration for the CVC. Also includes an address by W. G. Devitt which summarizes the history of education in the NWT from 1952 to 1973.
