The films were largely shot by Otto Binder and depict life in the Beaufort Delta region, and the community of Reindeer Station in particular. Footage of travel by water, as well as reindeer herding activities feature prominently. Shots of family and community life are also within the collection.

One of the photographs shows an unidentified woman setting up an x-ray machine outside of the school building. The photographs were taken by Monica MacDonald who was a teacher in Fort Good Hope.
The video depicts three different flooding incidents: 1) Fort Simpson flood and break-up from 1972, 2) 1989 break-up and flooding in Fort Liard in 1989 and 3) break-up and flood in Aklavik in 1992.

Records also include letters of support and congratulations for the Private Member's Bill from local non-government organizations and communities.

Cournoyea, NellieRecords relate to Dene languages, including materials from the Fort Good Hope Research project undertaken by the Government of the Northwest Territories Department of Education from 1981-1983. It also includes several grammars, dictionaries and reports of Dene language studies.
Records include photographs taken by Monica MacDonald while she was a school teacher living in Fort Good Hope in 1959. The images depict daily life in the community in the springtime, showing housing and children at play. A number of the images show an aerial view of the community and surrounding scenery as seen from a helicopter.
