"Buckingham Palace This cairn was erected by His Royal Highness the Prince Andrew to commemorate his visit to Cape Columbia, the most northerly land mass in Canada. Latitude 83°12'N., Longitude 70°25'W. He is the first member of the Royal Family to venture this far north in the Arctic Seas. Cape Columbia, Northwest Territories 12 July 1977"
