This accession consists of two copies of a general letter from Commissioner Stuart M. Hodgson declaring 1970 to be the centennial for the Northwest Territories. These letters were carried by dog sled to fourteen communities in the Mackenzie basin as part of the Centennial Western Dog Sled Mail Run. They are postmarked Inuvik and addressed to the Centennial Centre in Yellowknife.

The accession is comprised of one guest book signed by the British royal family, including Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles, as part of the Northwest Territories centennial celebrations.
The records are made up of three files of correspondence and two blue print maps of leased areas documenting applications and maintenance of surveying permits for petroleum and natural gas exploration in the south Great Slave Lake region including, Pine Point and Presquille Point areas.

Young and administrators of the Department of National Health and Welfare, concerning pensions for the old and the blind. Also included in the file are copies of the Ordinance, regulations pertaining to the ordinance and application forms.
The accession is comprised of telegrams and correspondence concerning the construction of a landing strip at Wrigley in 1938.
Records include a 1974 Annual report of the St. John Ambulance to the NWT Council, correspondence with Buckingham Palace regarding a Royal visit; and the eulogy for Maurice F. Coffey given by Commissioner Hodgson in 1975.
This accession consists of two oversize cloth public notices. One warns of the dangers of forest fires; the text is in Tlicho and written in syllabics. The second identifies a native hunting and trapping preserve. An annotation on the front indicates that the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) schooner the "St. Roch" may have located this notice in 1944. On the back there is an annotation: "Robert G. Fulton and Gerald Klondike Helicopters on Board M.V. Theta [1931?] Calgary Alberta."

The material includes a storyline and exhibit outline, press releases, poster, itinerary, correspondence, planning notes, and a newspaper clipping.

The budget papers are divided at a primary level between Vote 45 funds (Administration, Operation and Maintenance) and Vote 50 funds (Capital and Construction). These primary levels are then further sub-divided between Branch Administration (BA), Education (E), Welfare and Industrial Division (W&I), Yukon Territory field operations (YT) and Northwest Territories field operations (NWT). The records include estimates, expenditure statements and capital substantiation reports.
This accession consists of four warrants issued to Rev. A.J. Vale to bury Nelius T. Ronning who drowned on Great Slave Lake on 12 Aug. 1920 and Irvine Bayes, Melville Bayes and Roy Bayes, who all drowned at Hay River on 14 May 1921.

The material was amassed in the course of developing the Nanisivik town site near Arctic Bay on Strathcona Sound and consists of correspondence, minutes, agreements, plans and charts.

The collection consists of sound recordings of interviews conducted by Marc Stevenson, transcripts of interviews, and copies of historic photographs depicting Inuit and the Baffin region collected from the Public Archives of Canada. The sound recordings include: an interview in August 1983 with Etoangat at Kekerten whaling station; interviews conducted by Marc Stevenson at Kekerten and Pangnirtung in August 1984; and one apparently unrelated recording of an interview with an Inuk elder. The transcripts appear to be copies of twelve interviews conducted by Jaypeetee Akpalialuk in March 1984. The people of these interviews include: Kunugsiq Nuvaqiq, Shaimaiyuk Simon, Annie Alivatuk, Koagak Akulukjuk, Towkie Maniapik, Malaiya Akulukjuk, Martha Kakee, Sowdloo Shukulak, Etoangat Aksayook, Katchoo Evik, Koodloo Pitsulak, and Nowyook Nickutimusie.

The records indicate big game harvest, fur trade activities and where furs were exported. The ledgers include trading, hunting and trapping returns from Wood Buffalo Park, Franklin District, Keewatin District and the Mackenzie District.
