The records consist of Deputy Minister's chronos dated from 1994-1996, just prior to the Department's amalgamation with Economic Development and Tourism to form Resources, Wildlife and Economic Development (RWED).

Records date from 1982-1993 and originated from the office of the Deputy Minister. Records consist of the terms of reference and reports from a departmental operational review that was completed between 1990-1991 by consultants Peat, Marwick, Stevenson and Kellog. Additionally, there is a file related to enforcement of legislation that was the responsibility of the department, as well as correspondence and studies done regarding hunting in the Mackenzie/Liard Corridor.
