The accession consists of records from the Minerals and Petroleum Resources Division of the Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment (previously they Minerals Division of the Department of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources and the Minerals, Oil and Gas Division of the Department of Resources, Wildlife, and Economic Development). The records include agreements with TransCanada Pipelines, the Government of Alberta, and the federal government. The records also include meeting materials for the Deputy Ministers' Pipeline Steering Committee, Managing This Land, the Mackenzie Gas Advisory Group, Deputy Ministers' Economic and Employment Development Committee, Diamond Review Committee, and the NWT Geoscience Office Joint Advisory Committee.
