Records are primarily the records of the Western Constitutional Forum and the Constitutional Alliance. These records document the organizations' administration, finances, community liaison and public relations activities, research activities and publications, and interactions with member organizations including the Dene Nation, Métis Association, Legislative Assembly, Tungavik Federation of Nunavut (TFN), Inuit Tapirisat of Canada (ITC), Inuvialuit Regional Corporation (IRC), Committee for Original Peoples' Entitlement (COPE).

The records include incorporation records, terms of reference, bylaws, action plans and activity reports, correspondence, audio recordings and minutes of meetings, workshops and conferences, budgets and financial statements, funding agreements, job descriptions, press releases, newspaper articles, newsletters, research papers and reference materials, publications, including audio versions of the pamphlet series in North Slavey (Dene Kǝdǝ́), South Slavey (Dene Zhatıé), Chipewyan, Tłı̨chǫ, Gwich’in, Inuvialuktun, and Inuinnaqtun, speaking notes, presentation slides (textual and photographic), photographs of the signing of the Iqaluit Agreement, and maps showing tentative boundaries, and information relevant to division.

The accession also includes related records from the NCF and member groups of the Forums and Constitutional Alliance (Dene Nation, Metis Association, Legislative Assembly, Tungavik Federation of Nunavut, Inuit Tapirisat of Canada, Inuvialuit Regional Corporation, COPE, and Dene/Métis Claims Secretariat) such as bylaws, meeting minutes, action plans and activity reports, annual reports, resolutions, financial statements, newsletters, discussion papers, correspondence, and press releases.

Records include legislative review files for the Municipal Statutes Replacement Act, which included changes to the Charter Communities Act, the Hamlets Act, and the Cities, Towns and Villages Act. Records also include a file from a conference hosted by the Department of Municipal and Community Affairs about the impact of boom-bust economic development on infrastructure in northern communities.

This accession consists of records relating to forest management in the Northwest Territories. The records include records of the NWT Forest Industry Conferences and Workshops (2005-2006) and records on timber supply, particularly in the Liard and Nahanni Butte region. The accession also contains some records of Federal/Provincial/Territorial work on timber supply.

Records include materials relating to the organization and reorganization of the Department of Transportation, as well as its predecessor, the Department of Public Works and Highways. Also included are records relating to a conference hosted by the department, as well as minutes and meeting packages from the Senior Management Committee.

Accession consists of minutes from the Highway Supervisors' Conference held on December 3-5 in 1973.

This fonds consists of recordings of the various sessions of the 13th annual conference of the Canadian Research Institute for the Advancement of Women. The original recordings are on 32 audio cassettes which have been copied to DAT audio tape.

This fonds consists of approximately 4 cm of textual material produced by the Status of Women Committee and the ad hoc committee. The materials include: minutes of meetings; correspondence; copies of department submissions; recommendations of ad hoc committee members; a copy of the Plan of Action report and the response of the Executive; and materials from the "Breaking New Ground" Conference.

This fonds consists of one reel of colour 8 mm film (original master) of what was likely the Native Women's Association of the NWT first conference, held in July 1977. The film, approximately 175 feet in length, runs ten minutes. The film was transferred to Betacam (archival master) in 1997.

Records consist of Senior Management Committee (SMC) minutes, Project Management seminars and material from conferences that took place across the Northwest Territories.

Records include policy development, workshop and conference materials, Senior Management Committee records, and reports on performance measurement, asset maintenance, and activities related to the implementation of self-government agreements.

Records relate to the Project Management Conferences and include correspondence (2007-09), financial material (2006), Minister's Welcome Address (2009), and an attendee package (2009).

The records include Minister's chronos, Deputy Minister's chronos, and briefing books.

The records include Minister's Chronos from 2005 to 2007 and Minister's Briefing books from 2009 to 2010.

Records include Ministerial and Deputy Minister chronos, and one file regarding an airports conference.

The audio recordings are of papers presented as part of a USSR/Canada scientific exchange in 1987.

The photograph is of a group of participants at the 1977 Fish and Wildlife Convention.

This fonds consists of mimeographed minutes and proceedings of the first and second meetings of the Council of the Episcopal District of Mackenzie. The meetings were presided over by Bishop Henry G. Cook.

Records include photographs depicting the attendees of the annual meetings of Government of the Northwest Territories' foremen for 1973, 1974 and 1975. Each meeting member is identified including their position title and place of work. Employees from the communities of Enterprise, Fort Providence, Yellowknife, Pine Point, Fort Smith, Fort Simpson, Inuvik, Stagg River, Buffalo River, and Hay River are listed.

Records consist of educational material, program promotional material, program reports, and records regarding a territorial-wide health conference led by the Authority.
